Have you dreamed about building a home in Colorado? Surrounded by nature, incredible views, fresh air, and peaceful quietness. You’re not alone, it is a dream, and one that many have made come true. You’ve probably seen these homes yourself, and maybe you already have a plan for your dream home. But what defines a dream home? It’s a home that you’re involved with in every phase of the build from the location, to structural design, and all the little details that make it yours. Grand Construction understands that building a dream home is an experience that you should enjoy before the build begins, during the build, and for all the years you live in your finished home. That’s why it’s so important to build your dream home with a builder who values your experience just as much as the outcome.
Welcome to Grand Construction
Grand Construction is a local Colorado family-owned builder. We’ve been building in Colorado since the early 90s. Over the years we’ve refined our skills, built strong relationships in the industry so we can source the best materials quickly, and have built a reputation as a builder that listens, communicates, and consistently delivers our promise.
Our Work
Why Grand Construction?
It’s Your Dream Home
Building a dream home is highly personal. We listen and put the time in to understand on a deep level what you want. Whether your vision is complete, or you need some help fleshing out the details, we make sure you love the finished design.
Transparency
From day one we make the process clear. We never over promise and under-deliver. If materials are hard to get, we let you know. If there’s an issue with the design, you’re the first to know and we provide thoughtful solutions. No surprises.
Clear Communication
This is your dream project and you deserve to know what’s going on. We welcome on-site visits, and we send frequent updates with photos and can provide a live video feed so you can watch the progress wherever you are.
Quality Craftsmanship
Quality craftsmanship is one of the defining elements of a dream home. This means using the best materials and having experienced craftsmen that understand how to work with the materials in the unique environment of the high country.
What our clients say
My name is Robbie Muck, and I oversee the Gateway Inn, which is a 46-room hotel located in Grand Lake, Colorado, website gatewayinn.com. I have worked with the Wilhelm family since before Grand Construction was formed. I have always been impressed with the workmanship, trustworthiness, and professionalism of the Wilhelm family. Grand Construction built an expansion to the Gateway Inn which lengthened one hallway and added 14 rooms to the existing building. This was a major project that cost well over a million dollars and took over a year to complete. The expansion was open for business in June of 2019. The workmanship Grand Construction put into our building is impeccable. We stayed open for hotel guests during the construction, and I was very impressed in how Grand Construction was able to complete the project with minimal disruption to our guests or our day-to-day hotel operations. Grand construction has also performed many other smaller jobs in and around our property and I know, with them on the job, anything they build will be completed to the highest standards. I will always try to hire Grand Construction first for any job we may have in the future. I recommend them for any type of construction job large or small.
Robbie Muck
Grand Construction is one of those companies that really care about their product. They are very conscientious and take their time to put out one of the best built houses I have ever seen. Our job was one of the most difficult framing jobs I have ever seen and they did a great job taking their time to make sure that everything was just right.
